Gabbles of A Spastic Cynic

:) Hi there...
I need some help here:

INDONESIA: Supporters of anti-pornography bill demonstrate in Indonesian capital...

When Australia enacted their child-pornography laws, I never really thought much about it because I don't host chan on my website, don't read it either, so other than placing it on my 'watch-for-censureship' list, I largely ignored it. But now I'm seeing this and it's about adult 'pornography' as well and...

I have about 200 or so registered Indonesian users on my site--all women. How does this affect them? Should I warn them in a general note on the site sort of the way SSHP Prophet warns of potential chan-slash in its posts?

And here's the big one... If the law passes, should I refuse to give passwords to people from those countries? Here I'm really torn. The Voltaire side of me says "Hell, yes--give them the password! It's their decision and we need to strike on the side of free speech!" The 'afraid-for-them' and 'protect-my-site' side of me says I should at the very least add another statement that they know this is illegal in their country and they accept the consequences as a means to let them back out gracefully. Then there's the isolationist side of me that says to leave it be and move on... it's not my problem.

But it is... or might be if this madness spreads.

Crap! I hate crap like this. Any ideas would be most welcome at this point.

Thanks...

I Got Tired of Waiting
